iGo model GT2 Power assisted scooter

 

The iGo GT2. This bike is our most popular model due to its polished fit and finish , and the fact that it like all other iGo brand electric bikes is built to the “Built for Canada “ standard. It offers great handling and performance. For the 2008 season, the GT2’s motor has been upgraded to our newest, most powerful 500 watt hub motor, and we have also included a remote anti theft system. We at iGo are always looking for the finest quality components, and the most powerful and long lasting motors. Tires on this model are Ebike brand 16” x 3” wide, which offers tires that ride on tread designed to be less resistant that normal tires. Fully illuminated instrumentation, front & rear suspension, left & right mirrors, under seat storage, and a power breaker mounted under the seat.

    Battery Power

  • 4 X 22Ah lead acid maintenance free batteries for 48 volts of extreme power, and 65 km of driving distance per charge*
  • These batteries can be fully recharged in 6 to 8 hours, using the equipped 110 volt, smart charger that will shut off when the batteries have reached full charge

    • Chassis

  • Frame is welded construction steel tubing as strong and robust as a 50cc gas scooter, baked enamel finish
  • Extremely comfortable dimensions , big enough for 2 adults, with foot pegs that open out of the frame , and are folded back out of sight when not needed
  • 16” Alloy wheels , 3” wide Ebike brand tires ,specially designed for electric bikes, which offer less resistance than normal bike tires
  • Double front , and rear shock absorbers for an extremely comfortable ride.
  • Excellent braking from front & rear drum automotive style brakes

  • Locking front steering wheel that locks the wheel in its extreme left position
  • Remote controlled anti theft system , with find me feature to signal you of the location of your parked iGo.**
  • Removable motorcycle style cargo box that allows you to quickly disconnect the cargo box from the ebike with the push of a button , and quickly click it back on.

    Included at no extra charge. 90 Days from date of purchase against defects, 1 year on the frame and hub motor, 3 months on the batteries.****
